Visit your wallet page

To visit your wallet page, click on the Wallet link from the main menu. On the wallet page you see several sections providing various functionality. Here you can read an explanation of what you see on this page.

When you don't have any ETH on your wallet, a message is shown:

There is no ETH on your wallet!
Please deposit ETH on your public address: <Your public ETH address> to play SHT.

So the first step is to add some ETH to your own wallet first, because without ETH, you cannot buy any SHT.
If you already have some ETH on a different address, use your favorite wallet app (or our own ETH Power wallet) to deposit some.

If you don't have any ETH, you need to buy them. For US users we suggest https://www.coinbase.com/. If you want to pay with ideal, Bancontact, MyBank, Visa or Mastercard, we suggest https://bitrush.nl/. You can immediately deposit your ETH to the public address shown on your wallet page.

Important: be aware that depositing ETH to your wallet can take several hours, or even days before they show up in your wallet!
The Your Wallet section gives you detailed information about the active wallet you have registered on SHT.

The first button allows you to buy SHT tokens when you have ETH balance.

The second button reloads all your ETH and SHT balances. For perfomance reasons we reload your ETH balance every 5 minutes and all the tokens, only once a day.
Pressing this button, forces an update of your wallets. Note that it takes about 15 seconds to reload everything, so please be a little patient when you've pressed the button. Getting a quick coffee would ease the wait :).

Two other sections are also visible here:

  1. Your wallet details.
  2. Transfer ETH or Tokens to others.

Viewing your wallet details

To visit your wallet page, click on the Wallet link from the main menu. On this page you can see an overview of the ETH wallets you have linked to your account.

The top row shows the totals of your wallets. It also calculates the total value in USD and EURO based on the current ETH exchange rate.

ETH Public Address
This is your Ethereum Public Address that can be used by others to send you ETH or Tokens. You can share it with others, so that they can transfer ETH or SHT to you. This is the address you need to use in Coinbase or Bitrush when you Withdraw / Sent Ethereum to your wallet.

Your Avatar
We automatically generate an unique avatar based on your unique public ETH address.

Action Buttons
The action buttons allow you to do several things with your wallet:
QRCode: This button displays a QR code of your public ethereum address. We support scanning this code, when transfering funds to someone else.
Get JSON: This button lets you download the encrypted JSON file of your wallet. You can use this file on any other wallet software that supports the JSON wallet format. Important: You always need your encryption password to use this file! We don't know or store this password anywhere, so we cannot recover it for you.
DELETE: This button deletes the wallet from your account. A confirmation message is shown to ask if you are sure. Be carefull if you delete a wallet without making a JSON backup first! We cannot recover a deleted wallet for you!

Balance(s)
The ETH and SHT token balances are displayed in the "Balance(s)" column where the token symbol displayed as a small blue button.

Light Blue ETH and SHT buttons
The light blue ETH and SHT buttons are used when transfering ETH / SHT to someone else. Please see the Transfer ETH or SHT to others section for the explanation.

Buying SHT

During the pre-sale period it is possible to buy SHT tokens from your ETH. First click on the Buy link from the main menu. If you have ETH balance, it shows the following:

There are multiple fields that do the following:

  • The Red, Green and Blue token images let you choose if you want to buy SHT1 (red), SHT2 (green) or SHT3 (blue). Just click on the token you want, and the green background reflects your choice.
  • The Amount to buy is the amount of SHT tokens you want to purchase.
  • The SHT selection box makes it easier for you to determine the amount of SHT to buy in ETH, EURO or USD. Just change the SHT box to a different currency, and see an automatic conversion to SHT amount, based on the buying-price and exchange rate.
  • Your wallet encryption password is the password of your wallet. Because we don't store your wallet encryption keys, we need to ask them to you. It's what keeps your wallet safe!
  • The Normal Speed (≈ 4 min) is the time you want it to take for the transaction to be executed. This also determines your transaction costs. Unfortunately using the ETH network is not for free. You must pay a small extra amount of ETH for any purchase. Note: Although we provide a "Realy Slow option", we advice to use it wisely. When it is very busy on the network, we noticed that a transaction with this setting can take multiple days.
  • The buy description tells you what kind of purchase you are about to perform. Read this very carefull before hitting "Buy". Make sure that you have used the right amount of tokens and currencies. We cannot undo any wrong transactions!

Here is an example of how it can look when all fields are filled:

When all fields are filled correctly, you can press Buy to make the actual purchase. At that moment we transmit the transaction to the Ethereum network and are waiting for the network to process it. Based on your transaction costs, and how busy it is, the speed at which this happens, varies.

To follow the status, we show a transaction monitoring screen:

The weird number between brackets is your unique transaction ID. It can be used to monitor and look-up the status of your transaction.

After a while the transaction is processed and confirmed on the Network. At that moment you can see the amount of confirmation increasing:

Note: It is not needed to keep this window open. You can find and monitor all your transactions in your Transaction Overview

Important:If you have enough confirmations of your purchase, but you don't see your purchased SHT in your wallet, click on the button "Reload Balances" in your Wallet page.

The red pin, represents someone that shared his / her location. If you click on it, you can see who it was:

Very quickly you should see a waiting on confirmations window:

Please be patient, or increase the transaction costs. As long as the word wating is shown, it has not been picked up. It is safe to close the screen, because the transaction is there! When it is confirmed, it will show:

Digging for SHT

When you are zoomed in on the map, the "Dig" button is enabled and a yellow grid-square is added to the map:

We have divided our planet in squares, and within every square you can Dig for tokens. If you are lucky, you can find a lot of coins. We have hidden certain amounts of tokens in each grid. *The percentage below shows the chance you can find that amount.

Transfer ETH or SHT to others

To Transfer ETH or SHT to others visit your wallet page, click on the Wallet link from the main menu when you are logged in. On this page you can see the section you can use to transfer ETH / SHT to others.

There are multiple fields that do the following:

  • The Amount to send is the amount of tokens / ETH you will sent to someone else.
  • The ETH dropdown lets you select the ETH or tokens you want to send to others. Note: This also supports sending EUR or USD amounts by selecting USD / EUR. However since the transactions are in ETH, we convert them to ETH for you by using the exchange rate. An extra line is shown that calculates the actual ETH amount
  • The Destination Address is the RECEIVER of your transaction. Here you must use the public address of the person you want to send the amount to. Note: It is possible to use the Scan QR button to scan the QR code of a public ETH address. It's the same QR code you can see in your wallet details. This feature only works when you have a camera (like on a mobile device).
  • Your wallet encryption password is the password of your wallet. Because we don't store your wallet encryption keys, we need to ask them to you. It's what keeps your wallet safe!

Note: Although we provide a "Realy Slow option", we advice to use it wisely. When it is very busy on the network, we noticed that a transaction with this setting can take multiple days.
  • The transaction description tells you what kind of transaction you are about to perform. Read this very carefull before hitting "Send" and make sure that you have used the right adresses / tokens and amounts. These buttons help you to send a transaction very quickly. If you click on a ETH / Token button, the transaction immediately fills Token and the full Amount of your balance. It is then only needed to set the Destination Address and the correct amount.
When all fields are filled correctly, you can press Send to make the actual transaction. At that moment we transmit the transaction to the Ethereum network and are waiting for the network to process it. Based on your transaction costs, and how busy it is, the speed at which this happens, varies. To follow the status, we show a transaction monitoring screen:
